Remember how this happened on April 2nd the day after April Fools passed? It shows the neuroticism of the plan. B is contemplating deleting gd as a consequence of an april fools joke gone wrong. He doesn't follow through on April Fools then in a moment of impulsivity does so a day late when his desire to get rid of the evidence outweighs all logic.
