Probably the worst thing that happened to TV was everyone declaring that there was a "golden age of TV." Things have inarguably gotten worse since then.

yeah, the whole golden age of tv was funny. They are different means and ways of storytelling. Serialized tv is more amicable, easier and trickier than a feature film.

I do think the streaming/digital turn in the last decade more heavily impacted TV/serialized narratives than it did film.
