There is a tree beside my driveway that drops a shit-ton of annoying-as-fuck leaves this time of year, just before it moves onto dropping a shit-ton of annoying-as-fuck fuzzy/fluffy flowery type things. It doesn't know it yet but tonight is the last time that fucker gets to enjoy a night without a mess of chainsaw scars all over it.

I'm going to cut down as many limbs as I can with the gear I have and then call in a tree-pro to remove whatever's left. I am so looking forward to having that bastard tree out of my life.

Last weekend I got rid of a mandarin tree that the previous owner's had planted down the side of our house. Got sick of constantly getting stabbed by the huge spikes on the thing. And it never produced any actual edible mandarins either.

Not a good time to be a tree in my yard it seems.

Some friends are moving and since this is their last weekend in the house they’re having a party tonight. They’ve hosted all kinds of get togethers over the past few years and has become a prime go to spot for socializing. They are not moving far and I am sure their next place will become just as popular but it’s an end of an era.

Last night was fun; I am definitely not used to getting home at 3am these days.
Potential pool time this afternoon. No real plans for this evening but a bartender friend is having his bar birthday tonight so that could be a good stop by.

Wife is leaving tomorrow for Europe for 5 weeks. I'm not joining her until weeks 4 and 5. This weekend will be my lounge around and not do anything weekend, then I have a list of shit to do around the house over the next 3 weeks before I leave.
