i subbed quick oats (surprise) for panko as an additional binding agent, and i thought they came out great. i might even try to used minced garlic next time instead of garlic powder.

that looks pretty solid. maybe a little similar to something i've tried but i don't recall doing a flax egg, so that might help the crumbling patty i've had trouble with. i think i've also used chopped jalapeno for heat, but i like the idea of adding sriracha instead for that extra liquid
