Youngest daughter turned five today. Took the day off. Made them waffles for breakfast, then took them to an indoor playground, then go-karting. The five year old got to drive her own kart for the first time, and once she got the hang of it was speeding around the track while her older sister was going at a leisurely pace bobbing her head and singing away to herself. Was going to take them to the movies too, but the older sister was starting to look poorly so we cut it all short

what a morning. raining really hard and had to get both kids in the car, make the hour commute to drop wife off at work, kids off at me-maw's then go to work.. all in the heavy downpour

Hour commute? Damn. It's been raining a ton here too. I think we've had 3-4 inches since Sunday night with more to come today.

Man, my wife has always wanted to attend a taping of SNL. It's one of her NYC bucket list items. Today she just found out that she won the lottery for the May 21st taping.

BUT...

It's the dress rehearsal, which means she has to be there by 5:30pm. And she has an early wedding booked already. She's shooting until 6pm. So, she can't use the tickets.

I'm so bummed for her. This sucks. I hate this week.

Going to europe in June to Cannes Lions (4th time yyyessss) and this time we have passes.
Already psyched about it, and spending time with my partner and one of our directors.

Planning to go to Italy to see PJ and maybe netherlands afterwards.
