I was in the band at my company's Christmas party many years ago and we played "Moves Like Jagger"... we rehearsed it a lot because the singer couldn't get the lyrics straight. I truly despise that song

Aguilera absolutely kills her verse. I doubt your colleagues were up to the task!

Oh yeah, they were terrible. It was a revolving door of employees who'd come up and sing a song. The two caterwaulers who did "Moves Like Jagger" were easily the worst of the bunch

Yeah she has a few pop songs I really like, most of them on 1989. But ever since Reputation she's been zigzagging from gratingly obnoxious to extreme MOR blandness. I listened to Evermore and Folklore in full in a desperate search for anything to grab on to, it was all such a bunch of nothing
