I can't believe I'm internet friends with the guy who named the Hootie and the Blowfish fanclub

2nd guy from the right regularly goes to Thailand to "sightsee."

The guy in the right recently spent a portion of his biweekly paycheck on a pretty decent remote control airplane

I loved their Fairweather Johnson album. So when the discussion came up I suggested True Fan Johnson. I haven’t followed it actively since, but at the time it was picked up on, and used as the fan club name. On google today I’ve seen a few references to it, as that’s how Hootie fans refer to themselves.

So I read that post at 4am after the kiddo woke us up. Kinda half awake half asleep. I went back to bed with the phrase "true fan Johnson" swirling around my head until I drifted back off to dreamland.

I remember seeing Bad Religion open for Pearl Jam in 2009 and thinking that they just looked like regular folks when I expected spiked hair and leather.

It’s a lot of guys to make punk rock. I definitely relate to the aesthetic sadly, only probably 15 years younger?
