I think this is accurate. There's also no link to order a physical release that I've seen. This has been kept very close to the pocket, and he's finally doing what I never understood hadn't been done by anyone except Radiohead: Keeping it in your drawer until the night you're ready to release it.

Agreed. You can speak to this better than anyone, but how hard is it to keep a recording session and mastering (and other steps) completely buttoned up so something like this doesn’t get leaked? I’m (naively) guessing you just minimize the amount of people and keep it to those who are as secretive about the project as the artist. But I dunno.

And ban interns.

Feels like leaks only come a few days or even hours before release. I listened to the black keys album a few hours ago. And I think it was out yesterday or 2 days ago at most.
