Yeah, if that turns out to be a boondoggle, I won't be renewing. I think a lot of fans, myself included, are also really kidding themselves into the belief that PJ will perform multiple fan club only shows someday.
I'm in this boat.

I can find the fan club singles on ebay, or elsewhere, fairly easily. And i'm past the point in my life where I'm interested in wearing band merchandise.

At this point you might as well take $40 in ones and light them on fire.

I'm not in the US, but I let my membership go around 18 months ago when I realised it was pretty much just an annual charity donation to Pearl Jam. Even when they tour here, I've always bought public onsale tickets because I often only need one (and they're usually cheaper than 10C over here.)

I agree on the fall tour lottery. I put in for wheelchair accessible tix (because, really, when are they going to come to Texas?), and 10c response stated it was a separate drawing from the regular drawing. Knowing accessible seating is already limited, I knew my odds of getting tickets went down a lot when I read that. Needless to say, I didn't get a pair.

I'm not as optimistic anymore in getting fan club tickets in the future and will most likely purchase tickets the day they go on sale to the public.

a thread was posted over on the porch with this clip and i thought it was kind of funny. Hopefully it doesn't offend anyone except spoiled 10clubbers.

B's Hitler video was fantastic. Probably his best work.

It would be pretty funny to see it done from the opposite perspective, the lotto-loving fairness police. I might give it a try this weekend.

So, here's the seating chart for Bruce at Wrigley:

Image

For some perspective, the distance between home plate and second base is roughly 1 1/3 basketball courts. So people in section 22 are going to be farther than the worst seat at the United Center.

I was a 10C member for one year--I signed up in 2004 upon learning that the only passage to the VFC shows would be through 10C membership, and I didn't renew. I'm glad I got to see the show, but otherwise it was a huge waste of money.

I don't really like the idea of fan clubs in general. "Here, for $24.95 a year, we'll let you be an even bigger fan than you were before!" Not my thing.

and this is why we can't have nice things at baseball fields.

I'm thinking of trying for a single London when they go on public sale. I'll worry about the details of the trip if I get a ticket.

if you're sitting in the 500's, you might as well just go listen to the show in the street for free

so will the ten club lower reserved be directly behind ga or way off to the side?

No telling if PJ will get the same seating chart that Bruce did, but we will probably know more after the public sale. I'm buying then since I lost the Wrigley lotto.

Also, I am a little disappointed that Jason Aldean is playing the very next night at Wrigley. Not that he's a bad performer or whatever, but that means the need to tear down PJ's setup quickly in order to start setting up Aldean's might shorten their set.

View from first row of section 430 with center-fielder "on stage". Brutal.

I was at Farm Aid in Miller Park... its not that bad... and I was sitting in the 2nd level right behind Home Plate
my mom saw McCartney at Wrigley and actually liked it alot more than the United Center or Bradley Center (where shes also seen Sir Paul)

if youre driving to the show though, be set for high parking prices, my mom paid $45 to park near Wrigley

Yeah take the train, it's going to be $50+ to park. I've been to a lot of places and I can unequivocally say that parking around Wrigley is one of the most expensive and frustrating endeavors around...thankfully I have friends that are moving just a few blocks north of there and I'm just going to crash there.
