Thank you, friend! I appreciate it. And right back at you!Whitey McTeeth wrote:Sorry to hear joey. Good vibes sent your way!epilogue wrote:It's been a rough week. A good friend got hit by and pinned under a car while riding his bike in the city. They think he'll fully recover but it's going to take a long time. He broke a lot of bones and had a lot of internal injuries, obviously.
Another friend is back in NYC (she lives in Austin now) for her friend's funeral.
Another friend back home lost her mother and her best friend lost her step-mother. On the same day.
Today, I'm at work all day (open to close) and I'm just trying to breathe and focus on the important things. Let the dumb shit go.
Be careful out there, y'all.

I'll always send someone to the nook instead but unfortunately the last two times I've been there were a let down.

I've had about 1,000 burgers at the nook though and it's rare they're not good so I still support them

CC club used to be a favorite but last time i was there (12 yars ago?) it felt overrun and more trendy than years past. Perhaps its gone back to the more "dive" scene since Uptown area has gone to shit.
