I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Overall I liked this, but people really think Dano was that good? Character & performance were so meh. Interrogation scene was laughable.

Everyone else did a fine job.

If Ledger's Joker didn't exist, I'd view Dano's performance much more favorably. I think he was really good but it's hard not to compare it to Heath.

This movie is like The Crow for people who only read Cliff's Notes.

Agreed about the interrogation scene. Once he was unmasked, his performance was pretty terrible - especially his reacting to the bombs going off.

I liked him in the coffee shop scene. He didn't have to do much, but he was adequately creepy.

I saw this over the weekend.

I thought it was great. Too long, but very cinematic and kept me engaged.
