That was me a couple years ago. Too practical. Too reasonable. Why wear clothes at home? Just wear shorts or sweat pants. Who am I trying to impress? But I underestimated the psychological impact. I should be trying to impress myself.

the couple that lived across the hall from in nyc for years we're always dressed to the nines no matter what time of day..they were both from baden baden germany..he was a professor at columbia U and she was a writer...nicest people in the world but i would have given my left arm to see them dress like slobs for just one day...
