did he ever stay at a property to defend? It seemed like he was just walking around following protestors.

Or the state could fulfill its core responsibility and not allow looters and arsonists to run amok

Any protests going on out east? Just got kicked out of a movie theater because they are expecting civil unrest. Entire shopping complex was closing.

I assume you’re armed and stationed outside protecting the grounds?

Sal and Sam didn't call, so...

Haven't heard anything happening, so maybe local PD saw something on social media and freaked out over nothing real, who knows.

Udpate: unrelated to any protests

Convoys of people were going store to store stealing shit, and apparently it was a region wide thing. Even with a couple hours notice, the authorities were ineffectual.

There were a series of armed robberies by multiple assailants in Oakland hitting pharmacies and I don't know what else (last summer they hit multipe dispensaries in 1 night). Maybe entirely different groups? Group similar to the Nordstroms group hit Union square in SF on Friday night.

The Nordstroms thing happening without police being tied up with nearby protests just lets people know that you could always get away with it as long as there are enough of you.

In case you were worried I made it up:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/opd-chief-de ... 14711.html

Used the term "caravan", if I'm not mistaken.

The Oakland pharmacy/ dispensary/ retail crew were largely armed.

Not clear on the SF Union Square/ Walnut Creek Nordstroms crew.

I hear there were jewelry stores hit in other regional malls, but I have not sought any reports on that.

Anyone following the Ahmaud Abery case? Sounds like its not going so well for the prosecutor.

Edit: oh god, I just saw the toenail comment. Not going well for anyone. Can the jury convict the defense attorney for being an idiot?

Well obviously a black man with long, dirty toenails is guilty of SOMETHING. So them good ol’ boys just took care of him how they saw fit.

I had to look it up. For anyone wondering:

“Turning Ahmaud Arbery into a victim after the choices that he made does not reflect the reality of what brought Ahmaud Arbery to Satilla Shores in his khaki shorts with no socks to cover his long, dirty toenails,” Ms Hogue told jurors.

Just... what the fuck.

Is it the same guy that uttered the black pastor comment or are he and his 2nd chair taking turns stepping in it?

I just read about this today. What a vile human. And this was on the same day as George Floyd was murdered by a cop - she knew what the fuck she was doing. Human scum!
The 21 hours when this was the worst thing we had to worry about seem like halcyon days now.

Good. People who don't leash their dogs deserve to have them lured away.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
