My fucking heart hurts too much, and frankly, I've given up on anyone having the decency to be affected by the deaths of schoolchildren in a burst of violence. It took one time for this to happen in Australia for the majority of people there to say "never again," and decide that guns in the hands of every individual probably isn't the best idea. Verb is right, that will never happen here, and I believe it's because this country lost its moral compass a long, long time ago.
