Don't schools of any decent size have an SRO? I know Illinois has been trying to get cops out of schools with woke legislation but to my knowledge SROs are still pretty common.

Pretty comfortable saying that if this is *the* prospered solution to school shootings, the standard needs to be higher than "they stopped one!"
