If you believe this why even watch sports?
It's quite common for the NBA to put team friendly refs in place for a team that's down to help even out the series. Was listening to a sports radio segment recently and it was remarkable how many times this happens - they were looking at a team's won-loss record with certain referees.

I like to watch because I don't believe it's too overhanded and it does not always determine the outcome. Plus, it always seems the refs put away the whistles and let them play in game 7 (kinda happens in hockey too)
I think it's more common for the refs who qualify to work postseason games to not fall for certain star players' bullshit than it is to purposely influence the outcome of a game (i.e. Scott Foster and Chris Paul).

The NBA is basically pro wrestling. Still entertaining though.

Yeah, and I've enjoyed some of these playoff series because of the increased physical play. E.g. Bucks-Celts.

The Celtics have at least one more game left where they hit 20+ threes. Miami's only prayer is that it's game 6 not tonight.

I heard a Florida reporter dispute this today, but the Twitter rumor about a couple Heat players still back in Boston with covid today is getting amplified

Ah, debunked again w the injury report. It was a Heat broadcaster who got covid.

There was an argument on sports radio that the Heat could hide players with covid on the injury report if they already had an injury.

Don't know how true that is, but they said it so it's a thing.

It was fun today. Especially when the Heat canceled the walkthrough, so that raised the issue even more.

This is gonna be brutal. And it’s gonna really hurt me but I’ll be rooting for you guys against the Warriors.

I would root for the Heat over the Warriors, too.
