The Dometic … what % of the overall size of that thing holds drinks?
(Compared to the battery, fan, etc)

Re: Recent Purchases
It fits about 60 odd cans in it, so that's pretty good. There's a deep basket across about 2/3td of the unit and then a step up above the compressor. So I dunno, say 70% of what you see is storage space?Bammer wrote:The Dometic … what % of the overall size of that thing holds drinks?

Re: Recent Purchases
Cheers. Been drinking beers from it all weekend and she be nice and cold. The battery unit is a lithium one and it can power the esky at 0 degrees for around 36 hours off grid. Then once I start the car the esky switches to car power and the battery gets recharged.
Wife and I decided we are taking December and January off, have hired a caravan and are off to explore the southern edge of WA and a whole heap of SA as well. Might even stretch across to Victoria, but we'll see where we end up.
Looking forward to just being alive on the open road and under the huge skies.

Re: Recent Purchases
So I ran a test. Cooled the fridge down full of beer on 240 then switched across to the battery unit. It's now just on 50 hours later and I've been drinking cold beers from it the whole time. I just noticed my phone was flat and plugged into the usb c port and it was charged in 30 minutes. Battery shows 19% remaining. How fucking good is that?Higgs wrote:This

I'm posting from the future because today I'm going to be purchasing some plants for the front yard and a new sleeping bag.

Re: Recent Purchases

Yeah - that's the same as the one we bought a few months back. Was wheeling it down a slope and my daughter scootered into my leg at full speed causing me to lose my balance - the BBQ tipped and being ceramic it just shattered on the concrete
Also picked up one of these just in time to keep the little ones occupied during the school holidays some

along with

"I really enjoy sandwiches but the other guys are so good at making sandwiches that I don't make them. Now I make sandwiches."
