I can’t decide if the Third Sister is poorly acted or poorly directed.

I just want to point out that I am NOT the person grumbling about this show.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

They couldn’t find a child actress that can actually run?

I’m confused by that. Isn’t he in rebels? And rebels is ten years after this or close to it.

I thought episode 1 was fine. I’m halfway through 2 and 2 was bad almost all around. Will finish the episode, but it has dug itself quite the hole

just finished ep 1 and i really liked it. Ewan is so goddamn good!! Loved his scene with Owen.

Yeah, the Leia chase was done poorly, but that was the only scene i cringed.

Agreed I loved episode 1.

Episode 2 was a bit of a yawn until the last 5 minutes which were mind blowing

I was a fan of Reeva. Shattered by the Grand Inquisitor.

Leia not trusting Obi Wan was weird. Surely in her gut she would feel he’s The good guy being her powerful connection to the force.

Obiwan didn’t know Anakin was Vader and thought he had killed him. That killed me.

I’m pretty sure we saw all the trailer footage in the first two episodes.

Yeah all the trailer footage was from the first two. So we’re going in blind next week.

ep 2 was weird, mostly because of how bad Deborah Chow is with action scenes. Every choice she made was awful, and looked cheap too.

Hopefully this Leia arc is finished next week and we can concentrate on Obi Wan, because, damn Ewan is so fucking good.

And that last show of Anakin was good too.

i like the actress, Chow is an awful choice for this show. Im leaning to her being so poorly directed.

Overall, I'm super pleased with this show so far. I do still have a hard time with the look of The Volume. It continues to get better and better. This looks light years better than Mando S1. But it does still feel cheap sometimes. It still feels too animated. By comparison, just look at the new Andor trailer.

But none of that is a deal breaker for me. Ewan is amazing. The thematic threads are all there and working great for me. The opening Order 66 scene was fantastic. Great way to begin. Not sure if Reva was one of the younglings or not but it's possible.

All the stuff on Tatooine was on point. Just great writing. Great performances. Great Star Wars storytelling.

Didn't expect Leia to be such a huge part of this. But I love it. Makes all the sense in the world that she would be the only thing that could get Obi-Wan to "abandon" his mission temporarily and leave Tatooine. Just masterful.

Based on writing credits, seems like we've now more or less hit all the main points that were the original film. Excited to see where we go from here. I'm so looking forward to the rest of this. Despite the Leia chase stuff being really rough, I thought a lot of the other action (Reva on the rooftops, Obi-Wan hand to hand combat, Inquisitor encounter on Tatooine, Order 66, etc) was great.

Man! Just seeing Ewan back... it's just such a joy.

Did Obi wan actually tell Leah who he was? he just said "Ben". So maybe she just never puts the two together between now and ANH?

Reva was kind of annoying, but it will be interesting to see her angle on why she wants Kenobi so bad. Is it because she has a history with him or is it because she wants the recognition and power that comes with turning him over to Vader?

Obviously, need to watch it all again. But my memory is that he just calls himself Ben, yes. So very possible. It's also just as possible that she does remember him. Nothing I saw negates any canon thus far.

I think we've still got quite a bit left to see. Mostly revolving around the Inquisitors and their home base. But there's other stuff too. But I won't get too into that stuff as it could help people connect dots.
