I don't envy the rollercoaster you guys are on. Hope it's bearable. Stay strong.

Cheers 'sleep. <NBA Game Spoiler here --->>
Spoiler: show
Celtics won, so I'm very happy indeed about that start to my day!
It's OK, we are tough. And there's nothing going on that we didn't already know was likely to happen. Sometimes its good to rip the bandaid off though, 'cause then you can cop the slap in the face, shake it off and deal. So we're dealing. And still smiling too - mostly.

Today's day 21. Hell looking forward to Day 84.
Free boops today.

Just got to LAX for the flight home. It would be nice to actually come here and visit LA without having to deal with her cousin but as it stands, I really didn’t like it very much. I’m more an east coast guy, I guess.

We didn’t get any. So far, I’ve managed to convince her 13 ft wide curtains can’t be hung the way the windows are basically the wall. I’ve instructed her to look for some kind of lining she can affix to the existing blinds.

She already called Mrs Wease at 2am (knowing we had to be up at 5) because she couldn’t figure out how to log in to all her streaming apps. I had set all of them up yesterday and they all required a new account because everything was previously set up/paid for by her sister. Which I think explained to her yesterday. When she tried watching them none of her profiles were the same as they were before so she logged out of each app thinking they were wrong. Then she couldn’t log back into them. For every one of them. I told her they wouldn’t be the same because we had to set new accounts for each of them and explained she’d have to set her new profiles/favorites for each of them. But she still expected to everything to be exactly the same.

Last night at dinner she kept going on and on about how her uncle ruined her life because he would never let her move to LA and shack up with Robert Evans. And how she has studied Marilyn Monroe’s measurements and they are exactly the same size (this is from an 87 waif who has smaller tits than mine) from top to bottom and she could wear Marilyn’s wardrobe if she had it and everyone just assumes Marilyn was a bigger lady but they’re wrong. And if Sharon Tate was still alive they would be best friends and do everything together.

There is a hell my RM friends. There most certainly is a hell.

She has lived “on her own” for the past couple of years. Someone has pretty much always been there to take care of problems for her. be it her sister, her uncle (when he was alive), my wife (and by extension, me)…

She has visited LA for extended periods in the past, like 3-4 week stretches, but of course she’s always stayed in pricey hotels and never had to do anything on her own. She says she has a group of friends there that include Emily Valentine from 90210, and included Robert Evans when he was alive, and a couple of other “well known” writers and producers. Her expectation is that these people will automatically start putting her in movies, tv shows and such and will be able to move into her own palace in 6 months or so and have staff to wait on her like they do in the hotels she stays at.

Before he died, her uncle had worked out a deal with her to live on her own at home for a while then if she could handle that, they’d look at letting her go out there. He had spoken with my wife about going with her to help her get set up but he’d be handling all the money and that aspect of it. Then he killed himself and her sister refused to handle any of it so they asked my wife to be in charge. Since she has helped with the two girls since their mom died when they were kids, she felt an obligation to do it. Plus, she gets paid an annual sum, so it’s not like she’s doing it for nothing. But the mental and emotional toll is so not worth it for me.

The agreement is that if she can’t handle it for a year, she moves back home. Judging by the 15 hours since we saw her last, we’re gonna know pretty quick how that’s gonna be. And really, we both knew it before she moved but this way at least she can be told she went and couldn’t do it. I mean, her phone would ring and she would hand it to my wife to answer it. When we went to eat a couple of nights ago she ran over one dude’s foot and banged into another’s leg with her wheelchair and never even said sorry. Just kept going. She has no social skills whatsoever. And she lives in this dream world where if she just sits in her chair in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre over Marilyn’s hand impressions, someone will see her and know they’re the exact same measurements and she’ll be cast in a blockbuster and be a star. Or finally Mike Myers, in full Austin Powers mode, will see her and sweep her up and marry her and live happily ever after with her. She is absolutely exhausting.

37 I think.

But everyone always tells her they think she’s still a teenager because her skin is so pale and healthy and she only weighs 87 lbs.

Legitimate question--does she have a mental disorder?

I truly think she does. But everyone in her life has just enabled and put up with her “eccentricities” and I don’t think she’s ever actually seen anyone.

Which is bizarre. Because everyone who indulged her all thru life are the very ones she hates now for holding her back and repressing her. But she also wants to change her surname to what theirs is/was.
