"go woke go broke" should be on every lesson plan in every b-school.
Is that referring to the latest Lorenz or Weigel drama? That place sucks.

It's way past Weigel. They are somewhere between Heather Chandler and Heather Duke at this point.

It's escaped containment in the newsroom and has spread to the WAPO software engineers.

At first this read like a demo AI wrote it as a joke as part of a killer undergrad thesis, but apparently a CS major from arguably one of the top 10 schools for it in the world said:

The specific type of disordered eating I experience has not been diagnosed, but it can be described as a compulsion to eat less than needed when I’m either in social settings or when I have trouble estimating the amount of food I’m consuming.

In theory, Stanford’s dining halls present students with the opportunity to eat as much as they need given its buffet format. Yet students like me may struggle to take enough of any of the available food when they are charged with portioning it themselves.

I agree this reads very *cringe* but we don't know him. Portions may have been a big deal in his family/household. Do you know his circumstance?

It's clear that his parents did not do a good job treating his neuroses before sending him out into the world

That's fair, we don't know this person's upbringing and disordered eating is common and can be serious. But the use of the word "need" in place of "want" betrays a particular worldview very much in line with the sociopaths that are apparently heart and soul of the WaPo newsroom now and explains so much of this: "safetyism"
Despite my struggles, I never sought help with my disordered eating from Stanford. But it’s not fair to place the blame squarely on my shoulders. Simple changes to campus dining could help students without relying on their time and energy when they are not ready to seek help.

It's hard to imagine any other culture at any other time taking this seriously enough to print, much less from the top 1% of students, but here we are.

Is this a real life example of "Men will literally do x instead of going to therapy"? Why would you just live with that level of anxiety without trying to address it?
