I rode 15 miles yesterday, but unfortunately didn't puke.

Ha, nah, I'm being true. It's a dirt trail up a mountain with a couple especially steep spots. Just pushed myself a little too hard and did have to vomit.Dev wrote:For real? Or is this a goof on me?The Argonaut wrote:I did five miles yesterday and vomited at the top of the mountain

What's amazing is that I vomited in the exact same spot last summer. I leaned my bike against the same tree, I sat on the same rock, I vomited in the exact same spot.
The only difference is that last year my vomit was the color of blueberries and yesterday it was the color of turmeric

Looks like a comfortable ride. Did you get any kiddie adapters for them?

I’d noticed a tandem bike crossing the iced over lake this past winter. Just met the folks who ride it, they recommended studded bike tires out of Finland, said they work great. I’m definitely considering some rides this winter.

it's getting too hot to fart around with walking. i broke out the knockoff peloton last night and decided i'm going to give that a go for exercise.

Did a little under 40 km (25 miles) in a little under 2 hours (120 mins). Felt good but I can already feel I'll be sore tomorrow

Interesting. No breaks? Do you pause the watch if you do take one?The Argonaut wrote:Did a little under 40 km (25 miles) in a little under 2 hours (120 mins). Felt good but I can already feel I'll be sore tomorrow

Ok, ok, you caught me. I took a half hour break at the midway point and paused the watch? Is that cheating!?

Re: The Biking Thread
Did the 13-mile single track that I used to do with regularity. I haven’t done it in over a year.
Needless to say, it absolutely kicked me in the balls. I’m glad I did it, but Jesus was it a reminder that you can’t just pick up where you left off.

Re: The Biking Thread
I bought a bike like six months ago. Today was my second time riding it. I am a bit too short for it and the seat won't lower any further. I have difficulty slowing down using my foot. I rode 3.12 miles. A car almost backed into me. My heart rate went high.
