Two episodes into Severance and it's weird, but very interesting, to me.

i'm loving this show so far. slow (VERY) and deliberate, but i'm also going down the subreddit rabbit hole for this show, and reading theories, and loving the takes.

This is by far the worst streaming app on my smart TV. The video quality is a clear step below everything else. It doesn't remember where you stopped and episode, so you end up having to restart and fast forward every time. It also doesn't have the little a screen caps to pop up when you are fast forwarding.

Is this just more Apple BS to get me to buy an Apple TV box?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I've become a pretty massive fan of this show and I didn't even know this was premiering this week. Have they just not been promoting this show at all? It's kind of bizarre if it would get such a soft push; it's become pretty critically adored.

Almost done with S1 E5 of For All Mankind, and holy shit. I’ve enjoyed this more than I thought I would by miles. A couple things are a bit too much, but it’s done so well, so many good characters, interesting plot… can’t believe I slept on this one.

Finished season one… such a good show. Love these characters.
