Yes. The tweet made no sense without it. It's a particularly shitty tweet in that regard.
Several progressive organizations have hired liberal people who get pissed because the business practices of the organizations are shitty. It's a problem that plagues all progressive organizations, no conservative organization, and has nothing to do with individual, shitty managers.
2/10, too obvious. There is no way you read it and that's the message you came away with.

The left consensus seems to be that it's just a management vs labor dispute. Any issues are management's fault and they are trying to gaslight us through this article.
Two particularly relevant insights in the abortion and gun debates:
“Progressive leaders cannot do anything but fight inside the orgs, thereby rendering the orgs completely toothless for the external battles in play. … Everyone is scared, and fear creates the inaction that the right wing needs to succeed in cementing a deeply unpopular agenda.”
During the 2020 presidential campaign, as entry-level staffers for Sanders repeatedly agitated over internal dynamics, despite having already formed a staff union, the senator issued a directive to his campaign leadership: “Stop hiring activists.” Instead, Sanders implored, according to multiple campaign sources, the campaign should focus on bringing on people interested first and foremost in doing the job they’re hired to do.
Winning power requires working in coalition with people who, by definition, do not agree with you on everything; otherwise they’d be part of your organization and not a separate organization working with you in coalition. Winning power requires unity in the face of a greater opposition, which runs counter to a desire to live a just life in each moment.
“People want justice, and they want their pain acknowledged,” Rudd said. “But on the other hand, if acknowledging their pain causes organizations to die, or erodes the solidarity and the coalition-building that’s needed for power, it’s probably not a good thing. In other words, it can lead to the opposite, more power for the fascists.”

Why do you idiots keep trying to tag me into this inane discussion

Got it, objective reality is two big titties and I can't help but look away.
What do you want me to say about that Intercept article?

Nothing, just read is all I would ask. You are probably the most intelligent person here and one of the few people here that can effect the thinking and behavior future generations in meaningful ways, and that means you are one of the few that might actually be able to stop this and get the poison of this dysfunction out of the system before it's too late for the groups and institutions that help hold some of our our country's worst impulses in check. So when this messaging comes along from a left-leaning source, someone you could trust far more than Fox or others on team nutjob, it presents a unique chance to open the aperture a bit and maybe cause folks like yourself to take a moment and make sure the minds you are influencing are taking in those ideas and applying in the way that was hoped.
Also there is just something so punchable about Rittenhouse.

It's not "some", B. It's.... wait for it... systemic

Don't dignify his brand of snake oil sales with a reply, B.
Or if you must, please use the RM parlance "classic Bi"
We were talking about organizations, not individuals, so some is quite different in those two senses.
But let's follow this a second. What evidence could be produced that would lead you to agree with the Intercept article's basic assertion that the activist mindset has so debased liberal organizations that they can now barely function in their historic roles? Like, what would it take for you to acknowledge that this is a real problem that is having a real and very detrimental effect on even the most progressive groups and businesses?

True friendship or comradeship between these people is impossible. They can't cooperate because their warped social justice worldview breeds paranoia and resentment, and necessitates tearing down the remarkable. They are miserable fucks who gobble antidepressants like candy to cope with their incessant drive to sabotage everyone around them.
