Oof dude, you might want to get checked for Lyme Disease.

Yeah, they weren't deer ticks, I'm pretty sure, and I'm keeping an eye out for the bull's eye rash. These little fuckers are brutal.

Also, my condolences for the poison ivy as well. I've had my share of extreme outbreaks. My cousin came over last week and just pulled some ivy out of the ground around my house with his hands in a plastic bag. I'm like, NO THANKS, I'LL STAND WAYY 20 FT. the fuck OVER HERE

Funny though, one thing I must say, that the pleasure of really itching that ivy/sumac/oak rash is almost worth it sometimes. Running some hot water on it... mmm so good

If you could stay in that pleasure and not suffer the aftermath; ecstasy. It's almost like a microcosm of a pleasure-seeking life. Feels good until it doesn't, then it feels even worse, cycle, cycle until you're numb or dead.

Watching any attempt at artistry be watered down into product by corporate culture is a hell of a sight to behold in real time.

Yesterday I was walking my dog. A lone woman crossed in front of me, going in the direction I had initially intended to go to loop back home. The path goes through a wooded area. I kept going straight and probably wound up doing an extra mile. The day before I was walking alone while waiting for my son to finish reffing a soccer game. The path is through a big sports complex. Two teenage girls in sports bras crossed in front of me post-softball game and went in the direction I had intended to go. I took a different and longer route. I would be willing to wager I walk about a marathon every year just trying to make women comfortable and not come across as a potential rapist.

I do this as well. Recently, my wife's 19 year old son who is home from college had his girlfriend and one of her friends over to swim in our pool. I wouldn't even go to our kitchen window which faces out to the pool, and would ask my wife if I needed anything from the backyard. Coincidentally, I just took my dog to the park for a while.
