On hold with the trash man. They’ve missed pickup of my yard trimmings twice now on our normal pickup day, and have twice promised to send someone out the couple times I’ve called. The bags have been sitting there for two weeks at least. Time to escalate to a manager like a fucking Karen, I guess.

They only do ours one specific day of the month. If we take it out early it just sets there for weeks. We don’t really know which day. They picked them up last Thursday, so you would think it would be the second Thursday of each month but it doesn’t seem to work out that way.spike wrote:On hold with the trash man. We have to buy stickers for each bag. All it says to do is set out the bags by 6am on your normal pickup day and they’ll take them.wease wrote:They only do ours one specific day of the month. Apparently, there is an existing WO (a separate truck has to be sent), but it was supposedly routed incorrectly. The issue has been escalated to a supervisor, so hopefully it’s a capable one.wease wrote:They’re fucking you overspike wrote:We have to buy stickers for each bag. We’ve had this service since we bought our lake house last year, but in the past couple months, they’ve managed a monopoly over the entire southern half of the county (their previous competitor in the area now only services the northern half), so a decline in overall quality of service seems inevitable with no competition.
