The spectacular cheesefest I hear in sirens* Though I confess, I don't like long road much. A tiny cheese cracker maybe.
I don't see why the intensity or nakedness of feeling is immaturity?
I'm not saying its inherently immature, just that it comes off immature to me more than often. I feel like with age should come...restraint?.....Idk. Maybe I'm an emotionless robot who is not in tune with thier emotions I don't know, probably.

And I still fail to see how the lb songs we've heard and backspacer are them playing to thier strengths. But I think its pretty clear that we have a different view on what thier strengths are

I think the best thing you can say about PJ is that they have both strengths. In the end, their "strengths" will be whatever they think they're best at. It won't get more objective than that. There are good arguments that both the beginning and the middle period are equally "strong" but in different ways and for different sets of ears.

I just heard this riff in Doctor and the Medics' "Spirit in the Sky."

Edit: Norman Greenbaum originally?

Listening to this one now. I like the music so far, but I don't know if this is my kind of song. The chorus is kinda cheesy, and that is coming from a guy who really likes Sirens.

this sounds better in full quality, but i still don't care for the vocal melody really at all... just way too cheesy for my taste.

musically it COULD be fun live if they stretch it out some.
