I never got that feeling. He’s obviously weird and she’s very sane, but they work.tragabigzanda wrote:Yea but it was still too much. The one huge gripe I have is the Rickon character is so poorly cast. The guy plays him as the smuggest leftist intellectual. If this were the Rewatchables, he’d get the award for Guy Who’s In a Different Movie Than Everyone Else. Made me cringe every time he delivered a line.

I had no expectations for this show because I didn’t really get what I was getting into, but damn… wow was my reaction as well. Can’t wait until S2.

Super fucking cool. I needed to get to sleep last night otherwise I would have watched the finale immediately. I still had a hard time falling asleep, though. I was jazzed and dying to know what happens next.wease wrote:How ‘bout that last scene in the penultimate episode?

I'm really hoping I can finish it tonight. But I have to wait for my wife and she's meeting a client later tonight. Fingers crossed she doesn't run too late.

Re: Severance
I feel like there has to be some shoe to drop regarding the "real" world, right? Maybe it's stylized for a thematic or metaphorical reason but it feels off to me.
The houses being on Petey's hallway map. The strange behavior by the folks at the reading -- not just the I found him guy but almost everyone there. The Egan family. Something's up, surely, right?
And I need to know how/why Irving knows about the down elevator.
Unlike most other shows this season felt like well created setup all around. This thing needs at least three seasons.

I hate that I wasn't watching this show in real time. I have so much I want to talk about! Where's that old LOST forum I used to post on when I need it!

Re: Severance
This totally ties into the woman in the park that Mark's sister runs into. The one who doesn't seem to remember Mark's sister at all from the delivery.

Really?
I need to rewatch this show. My memory is that they are completely different people. Like one is Black and one is Asian, different.
