I hope they do a ‘play all’ option and just let you watch it as one piece. Could be easily done.

This show just got progressively better as it went on, huh. Pleasantly surprised.
Also god damn is McGregor the man. And they absolutely nailed the Vader stuff.

I really think his turn in this is award worthy.

He was excellent in this and im not surprised. He carried that weight so well. Reluctantly finding his way back to the force, all for the love of the children. Ewan was perfect.

I suppose, its like Joker and Batman. They could tell some more stories. While im satisfied with this, id love to see more of Ewan and Hayden.dimejinky99 wrote:Hello there

Re: Disney+: Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Yeah, I'm 100% satisfied and okay with this being a one-off series. I don't need more. But I will watch Ewan as Obi-Wan forever and ever and always. If they want to tell more stories with him as Kenobi, I'm here for it!
But I imagine the Vader v Kenobi of it all is done. I think you could split focus, maybe. Have a sort of Vader journey separate from the Kenobi journey -- following each but never crossing paths. I could be down with that. But it would be tricky seeing them face off again.
Don't need that though. There are plenty of Kenobi centric stories to tell. More Qui-Gonn training him in after-life force stuff. More of Ben and Owen. Kenobi told Bail in the finale that he would be ready if they needed him again. That certainly leaves open the possibility of more off-Tatooine adventures. We could easy see more Hayden/Ewan flashbacks, too. Even if Vader isn' t in S2!
Nine years is a lot of ground to cover. There are great stories left to tell.

While they may do another season, after that encounter in the finale I don't think they should do any more Vader vs. Kenobi scenes. That set things up perfectly for the movies. They could still have Vader chasing/searching for him, but involve the Grand Inquisitor more since they kind of shit the bed on that story arc.

Also, it's entirely possible that there's a new Kenobi & Ashoka story to tell, too!

Agree completely that should be it for obi wan and Vader. But the intercut idea is a good one.

I’d like to see just a Vader series as well as a OWK season two. They need to be kept separate up to the point of the movie now.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Yeah, I'd love to see Vader with his own centric show. Maybe a life-action story based largely around the stuff they've done in the comics and then beyond.wease wrote:I’d like to see just a Vader series as well as a OWK season two. They need to be kept separate up to the point of the movie now.
Also, I know a lot of folks weren't thrilled with Reva, but I fucking loved that character and I'd 100% check out a Reva show about her and her journey post Kenobi.

I liked the idea of Reva's character more so than the actual performance/execution. Unfortunately, sometimes those characters and their backstories seem shoehorned in to be backdoor pilots for their own spinoff shows.epilogue wrote:Yeah, I'd love to see Vader with his own centric show. I know she didn't work for a lot of folks, but I thought Moses was legit incredible. Fantastic performance all around. I love the character and her portrayal. And, to me, this certainly didn't feel like a backdoor pilot. Just an exceptional actor brining a new and interesting character to life in a way that fans demand more. It feels totally organic and interesting to me.Monkey_Driven wrote:I liked the idea of Reva's character more so than the actual performance/execution.
