we've watched the first 2 episodes of under the banner of heaven on hulu this week...its the itchy scratchy religious stuff about mormons/religion..pretty good so far but creepy

My family have been watching Cold Case all vacation.
It's very bad. I find it very hard to understand what pleasure anybody (let alone my own family) could get from a show that is so unbelievably stupid.

It's been great. I've spent most of the week sitting by the pool drinking expensive drinks and reading and it's been great.
I went down to the beach at high tide yesterday and it was pretty wild. I took a real beating out there.

Such a good representation of kitchen/restaurant culture. The gratuitous Wilco on the soundtrack doesn't hurt either.
