That being said, she was very efficient at going to a planet full of people with only the name "Owen."
I don’t think she knows exactly who he is. But I can’t remember what the message said that lead her there.

Although, what would be the point of her going after him if she didn’t know? I kept thinking while she was chasing him that this wouldn’t affect Vader at all since he doesn’t even know of the boy’s existence.
Well, I believe she wants to hurt Vader and Obi-Wan at this point, so I can see her going after him either way.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Is "Darth" more like a title of nobility or a military rank?

Part of a Sith naming convention. Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Darth Sidious, etc.

So it's more like a first name?

It's more like a status.

Closer to a military rank probably but not really like that either since there aren't other tanks along the way (that we know of).

There's a whole wookieepedia article about it. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth

Alright, yeah, so definitely a title. Like the evil side of being knighted.

Watched the finale. I have a lot of thoughts.

It didn't really change my opinion of the show too much.

So this stays at a B-

I liked:

How they handled suited Vader/the different voices in the finale was super cool

Ewan's acting chops

Did not like:

Music

CGI seemed a little off (spaceships in the finale)

Wished more $$ put into it for a 2-hour movie vs. series

Cameos did not offer anything (Palps, Qui Gon)

I could probably agree with you re: Qui-Gon, but the Emperor definitely offered something. Vader was going to far with his own lust for revenge on Obi-Wan and Palpatine said that was enough. You’re worrying too much about your own shit. You need to be worrying about MY shit. And Vader said, Ok. It shows how Vader is giving up more of himself to Emperor and the Dark Side.

One problem I DID have with the finale was how fast Obi-Wan made it back to Tatooine when he felt Luke was in danger. I live 3 miles from my youngest kid’s school. If they called me at home and told me something happened to her, I couldn’t get there as quick as OW got to Owen and Beru.

I just think if you are bringing in the Emperor you have to go big or go home. I don't disagree w/ your interpretation. I think the writers should have found a more dramatic way to include Palps.

The dragons from GOT must have been powering his ship.

Oomph, shots fired by EW!

the whole series looked like Botox, so many flat CGI settings with all the texture of a Mortal Kombat 2 background

I agree, here's another zinger

Obi-Wan Kenobi ended with a much-teased appearance by Liam Neeson, beamed in with all the grandeur of a Zoom session. Strange note to end on: A character who died in 1977 and a character who died in 1999, toddling toward nowhere in a desert. Is this Star Wars? Or is it only what remains?
