So, do Luke and Leia not change their clothes for 10 years?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It's just a joke about them wearing the exact same clothes at the end that we see them wearing when we meet them in ANH.

No, no. That part I understand. I don't understand why you would make such a dumb joke. I mean, they aren't even the same size in ANH. They clearly aren't wearing the same thing!

To your point, though, I do think the costume department over-did some of the visual "references" in this. Especially with young Leia. They were fun and all, but also a little over the top.

Luke didn't bother as much. Moisture farmers on the edge of the galaxy probably don't need a varied wardrobe. Makes sense to me. It also explains why Kenobi looks like a Tatooine moisture farmer in ANH.

Luke getting away from Vader makes sense/believable/logical in Empire.

But Obi-Wan letting Vader get away in yesterday's finale makes zero sense. And Vader inhibited by larger flames in his first fight vs Obi Wan a few episodes prior makes less sense.

In the comics he has like 30 versions of that suit in his closet.

This just occurred to me. Why didn't Vader catch Luke with the Force when he jumped?

Plot is stronger than the Force.
