I watched Miami Blues a few nights ago after finishing the book. It was pretty good. One of the better Alec Baldwin performances I can remember.

Think the quality trailed off in the second half.

Watched that last Dr Strange movie last night. It was.....alright I guess, but it's one long ass movie to be them basically just trying to tell Wanda to stop being a dick

Cinderella Man
Third last 2005-movie on my list for now. Only Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter 4 left after this one.

my affection for shane black is well documented, as is trag's dislike over the v/o narration in Kiss.

Just finished the first Kill Bill. I’d not seen it since the theatrical release. Starting the second one now. Never seen it.

Finishing up part 2 this morning. I had forgotten just what a strikingly beautiful creature Uma Thurman is. God damn.wease wrote:Just finished the first Kill Bill. I’d not seen it since the theatrical release. Starting the second one now. Never seen it.

I’ve enjoyed this version (2005) of Pride and Prejudice. Seems a lot more light than I remember (not seen this version before).

Re: What movies are you watching?
It is my collection of digital movies, curated and bought because I want to watch them, whether it’s for the first time or a rewatch, and with everything that is part of that process in choosing movies.
Watching them by year was a project to see classic movies (which I did mostly alone), but turned out to be a great way to watch movies with my wife for modern movies.
No movies that I have seen since the start of 2020 are rewatched, but rather marked as seen on the list since then.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Part one is great. Even if it all feels lke one long movie, the second part (or movie two) isn’t quite as good as the first.wease wrote:Finishing up part 2 this morning. Thurman is amazing.
