So the politician’s wife was severed during her entire pregnancy, or just the birth and following days of recovery?
I'm declaring spoiler tags dead in this thread after today -- be warned to anyone who hasn't seen the entire season yet.
Spoiler: show
I think it was the entire pregnancy or at least the last trimester, perhaps. I also saw speculation on Reddit that her innie is the nanny. So her outie gets all the fun aspects of child-rearing without having to do the hard work.
This totally ties into the woman in the park that Mark's sister runs into. The one who doesn't seem to remember Mark's sister at all from the delivery.
Not only does it tie in, it’s the same woman.
Wait, what?
The woman she meets in the park is the senator’s wife.

Right.

But I thought we were also talking about the woman at the end in Ep 9 who is walking with Helly, no?

For some reason my head has really fucked with this show. I blame it on watching it late at night when I'm super tired and kinda dozing during a few episodes.

I really need to watch it again.

I plan on doing just that.

But yeah. It’ll be interesting to see what we pick up from the beginning now that we know how the season ends.

Great read.

Loved your observation about the four tempers and the computer categories. I never picked up on that and it kinda blew my mind when I read it.

Well done.

Well, when we’re first introduced to Gabby (the senator’s wife) we don’t fully understand the context of the confusion. So we’re not really looking to tie all that together. But yeah, that one was pretty obvious. :D

It's just weird because literally in my mind's eye, it's a totally different actress! I looked it up and I know you're right but for some reason my sleep deprived brain replaced Gabby with someone totally different in the park scene.

And it’s mentioned that after Gemma’s death Mark saw a therapist with a mustache.

Now who do we know that has a mustache?

I appreciate you, buddy. That was my way of saying that I remember the line but didn't make the connection until reading his wrap-up. And honestly, you're not wrong to spell it out for me given my track record so far.
