Anders wrote:Just doesn’t make sense that she would just carry on with her old job for no special reason, and just murder a child on her own without reporting it at all. She also got there healthy and faster than Obi-Wan, after nearly being killed in the previous episode. Something odd about it. Him being a Skywalker at least gives her added reason.
The more plausible reason is it's just bad storytelling

My only big gripe with this series has been how Reva and the inquisitors just seemed kind of shoehorned in to the story. They really didn’t need to be there. That portion of the show was bad storytelling.

It is possible yes, parts of it were poor regardless.

That’s a fair opinion. But you forget that they’re bound and tied to the story before and after.
Everything has to fit and tie in to all of it.

I like that we agree on SW again.

Outside of The Last Jedi, aren't you guys pretty much always on the same page with SW?

I don't see how Reva's decision making after the Vader confrontation was boxed in by canon. Not to mention the speed in which she recovered from a stabbing and traveled across the galaxy.

This show, for me, was a tremendous success. The performances were outstanding. The emotional core was perfect. The themes were meaningful and resonated. Overall, it's my favorite live-action Star Wars TV show to date.

1. Obi-Wan Kenobi
2. Mandalorian S2
3. Book of Boba Fett
4. Mandalorian S1

I think Kenobi bests Bad Batch (so far), ranks among the best of Clone Wars, and it's overall lesser than Rebels. Though the highs of Kenobi are some of the best Star Wars has ever been.

Ok. I'm watching ANH now. Not one God damn thing holds up against Empire, Clone Wars, or the OB1 show unless you're willing to twist yourself into impossible contortions. Not OB1s story, not Leia's recording, not Owen and Beru's conversation. We're just gonna have to say that people are shitty narators of their own stories and move on.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I have no clue what The Bad Batch is, and I don't really see people talk about it very much

It's a continuation of The Clone Wars focusing on "defective" clones post Order 66.

It's not very popular in my circles either.

Andor has a chance because it will largely be new/unfamiliar characters and wasn't filmed almost entirely in the Vision.

*Volume

And that's the thing that excites me the most about it. None of this was in the Volume, apparently.

We'll have to wait and see about unknown characters though.

Reva saying to Owen, "You really love the boy like he's your own" seems to be more evidence that she knows who Luke is. Otherwise, why wouldn't she think he's a Lars?
