On the rare occasion I'm treating people, I go the opposite route as Jorge and very clearly scrutinize the menu and try to persuade them to make the correct choices. "Whew, drinks are high.. I'm having water... hint hint" "I'm sure the chicken is just as good as the steak" "the kids menu actually looks pretty good"

There is a hog in me . . . a snout and a belly . . . a machinery for eating and grunting . . . a machinery for sleeping satisfied in the sun—I got this too from the wilderness and the wilderness will not let it go.

There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.

I took the question to mean "do you order a more expensive dish" (maybe) not "do you order a bunch of extra food" (nah... though I might get more drinks if it's that kind of dinner)
I mean if someone else is treating and I'm craving a $46 steak, I'm having the steak.
Remind me to make sure all checks are split for meals with trag in St. Louis in September.

Did you guys know Will Arnett was never an SNL cast member? This feels like one of those Mandela effect things.

I never thought he was a cast member. I actually don't have any association with him and SNL at all -- outside, obviously, of his former marriage to a former cast member. But I didn't even know they were together until way after she'd left SNL.

Yeah I've never thought that. He doesn't have SNL vibes at all.
