didn't hear a single new song (except played sirens and mind you manners)\
i even tried 50 times to get through to win the trip to see them

maybe more luck tomorrow.

whats the bet the only songs they preview will be the ones that have leaked?
same way they were the only ones in the mini doco

worst case scenario i can buy the disc Thursday after work (record shops always stock up the day before)
Oh, I see. Damn. It seems there's just no way this thing is leaking :( Not before the 11th at least.
Who would want to hear a rip from the radio, though?

This is bound to leak any minute now: copies will be arriving in Australian record stores, radio stations already have it, etc. It'll be out there soon, I'm sure.

Yeah, this is a sentiment I have no real connection to. I'm sure people with kids/wives/husbands/families can get on board with something like this very easily, and for that reason it doesn't seem strange to me that so many people are so overwhelmingly drawn to it. But like I said in my earlier post, I have no real connection to the sentiment of Light Years either, yet between the music being more interesting/engaging/evocative and the lyrics creating a much more real, accessible world I find myself moved by the track. Hell, I really have no true connection to the sentiment of Long Road, but because every single thing about it is so perfectly done I find myself drawn to and empathizing with the protagonist to the point that every time I hear the song there's a real chance it will reduce me to an emotional wreck.
It really helps for Pearl Jam fandom if you are from a broken family or if you have lost people to death or in other ways... Or if you are just the type that can empathise with the feelings involved. There is quite a bit of emotion in both music and lyrics.

groetjes,
Mirella :)

I've been doing that for less than a week so I think you'll find its 5 or 6 "This will leak today" posts.

If it's any consolation, I genuinely think this will be the day.

You know this whole dog posting thing? I was the first person to do it. The first person to post a dog. My own dog.
