Everyone at home depot was seriously at the end of their rope.
Long checkout lines. I’m enjoying it cuz it keeps me away from the kids a few extra minutes.

Holiday weekend crowd, only one checker, associates straight up saying no to customers asking for help because they were off the clock.spike wrote:my manBammer wrote:Everyone at home depot was seriously at the end of their rope.

Normally I wouldn’t be a happy camper either but I was chillin’ today.

Re: There is not a thread dedicated to outdoor grilling
i have never tried the quick, hot method..let us know how it turns out...on a related note, i will be throwing an 18 pound brisket on the egg late tomorrow afternoon..probably looking at 18-20 hours...there will be 3 of us to monitor the temp overnight so we all get some sleep..a bottle of brown will sit on the table next to the egg..its also an excuse for me to get up at 2am to watch golf

I ended up doing ribz instead, so results still pending.tragabigzanda wrote:Assuming you're not opening the lid for other items and can maintain temp control, I don't see why it wouldn't deliver the intended results.spike wrote:Doug, and anyone else… do you think this fast brisket recipe would yield legit results?
