Not much to the assembly but god damn this propane to gas conversion is a real bitch. Off to Home Depot for one little part that I need.

Everyone at home depot was seriously at the end of their rope.

Long checkout lines. I’m enjoying it cuz it keeps me away from the kids a few extra minutes.

- Demo’d pallet with sawzall to get it off the truck and down to the street
- Took down a section of fence to get through to back yard, put it back up

Holiday weekend crowd, only one checker, associates straight up saying no to customers asking for help because they were off the clock.

Normally I wouldn’t be a happy camper either but I was chillin’ today.

i have never tried the quick, hot method..let us know how it turns out...on a related note, i will be throwing an 18 pound brisket on the egg late tomorrow afternoon..probably looking at 18-20 hours...there will be 3 of us to monitor the temp overnight so we all get some sleep..a bottle of brown will sit on the table next to the egg..its also an excuse for me to get up at 2am to watch golf

Assuming you're not opening the lid for other items and can maintain temp control, I don't see why it wouldn't deliver the intended results.
I ended up doing ribz instead, so results still pending.
