I don't think I want to be a librarian anymore. I think it would probably be best to return to just regular old clerical work. If I hadn't been so depressed in 2016, maybe I could've recognized the joy in clerical work. But now I have this stupid graduate degree and the pressure to have a job that fits it

What was that about, burt? I don't remember offending him in the past. Was he even talking about me? I find it all so confusing

It was. I posted about going out of my way to avoid walking behind a lone female on a secluded path in a wooded area. Argo wrote a huge post mocking it. It fucking annoyed me, and I reacted like Dime would if you had a negative thought about Star Wars. I apologized just now in that thread. I was out of line for no good reason. As someone who stands at a towering 5’9”, I hope I can be forgiven.

Ruddo replied about having some sexy minors in bathing suits parading around his house, and someone hilariously suggested letting the Nest Cam do the work.

People complain about not being paid enough, but I'm realizing that people aren't asking for enough. I'm like, "Can you ask for more money when you talk to the producer? They are happy to pay more."

the best job i've ever had was over the summers in college. i worked for a budweiser distributor driving around a fork lift and building pallets of beer to load onto the trucks for deliveries the next morning. it was a great workout, it paid well, and i got all the free beer i wanted.

the other part of the job was having to pull the 18-wheelers into and out of the warehouse and park them. i had no prior training, and i was pretty good at it by the end of my first summer (i was 19).

ice cream trucks seem like a piece of cake.

But there's often children running at them or following them on bicycles. Most normal children don't chase forklifts
