Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I like the humility. It's like, "this is a movie I made. if you want to see it, fine, if not, that's fine too." It's like one of his e-mail announcements to his fans.

I almost certainly would have watched Louis's movie if I hadn't seen the trailer. Now that I've seen the trailer, I'm fairly certain that I won't watch the movie

I'm just kind of shocked that it looks like it was shot with a $500 DSLR. But you can tell by the lighting that they still tried to make it stylized, it's not that they were going for a "raw" look. Very strange

From what I remember from his show, Louis actually has some directorial chops, and these days you can do a lot with a small budget and a skeleton crew, so I don't know why this looks so cheap and amateurish
