It involved a call, check or raise scenario, but I can’t remember which part he spoke incorrectly. Just used the wrong terminology with those three options at play. I know it was when he was teaching the kid how to play.

So if a character tells his wife he’s flying to Germany but meant to say France, and it’s not tied to a plot point or corrected by the man, that would have a valid reason to be in a script?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I think Hadish was a bad casting choice, she didn't really fit the role or the tone of the movie. Didn't notice the poker gaffe but I wasn't enthralled. Pretty forgettable movie.

this isn't a tutorial on how to play cards.. it's a movie about characters and how/why they're interacting... nobody caught any errors and it doesn't affect the plot so it doesnt' matter
