great portraits, and the grass/cloud shot is great too. love that ground level perspective.
can i ask the significance of having your subjects eyes closed in your portraits? it's a theme i think i've seen in your work before as well.

I think in most of those pics, the sun was shining on their faces and there was a moment when they were just kinda basking in it. I like those moments.mf wrote:great portraits, and the grass/cloud shot is great too. love that ground level perspective.

I've done a bunch of family and kid portraits in the past few of weeks. It's kind of a tough setting for artistic expression and experimentation but i'll post up some of my favorite shots as I process them. At the very least I learn more every time I go out.

The dad seems kind of ill at ease but you got some very natural shots of the boy, including his portrait shots.
