So Saul knew Lalo's fate. Seems like an error. And 6 bodies needed to be buried, not 2. And a small back hoe would not have been able to dig that hole if explosives were required for the rest of the room. Still a great episode .

He also "knew" Lalo's fate before. Mike had assured him Lalo was dead and he showed up in his apartment anyway. The way they wrote that was very deliberate.

It was nice to see Lyle again. What a good employee.

Sucks that he has to open and close two days in a row though.

The best part of that is there’s room to be lazy starting halfway through the day because of how long you’ll be there. Paycheck ain’t bad either.

Loved it, but I have questions:
Spoiler: show
Did Jimmy want Kim to go bc he thought she would go hide/get help or that she would truly carry thru with Lalo's plan?
I think he thought she'd run.

Did he think if she was alone with Lalo that shed be held for further ransom if Jimmy had succeeded?
Crossed my mind.

Did Jimmy really talk him out of it?
Gustavo didn’t think so when Kim said it.

He wanted her to live. He thought whoever stayed with Lalo was dead.

Lalo didn't plan on either of them succeeding. This was all a distraction so he could break into the laundry.

Oh, I don't think Lalo wanted/expected them to succeed. The first two questions are only from Jimmy's perspective. Lalo got exactly what he wanted... which is why I wonder about my last question.

Which reminds me of another question:

Why didn't Mike just stage Gustavo getting shot for a photograph and send her back to Lalo?
Do we have to spoiler things for now?

He did. Or more accurately, he annoyed Lalo into going "fine, whatever, she goes." Like Ensign said, he didn't really care who went -- the whole point was to cause a distraction. This is what Gus caught on to. He thought it was weird that Lalo would've been "talked out of" his original plan, so obviously that wasn't the main move he was doing.

Sure. I think "annoyed" is the right word since Lalo did mention how all Saul & Kim do is talk.

Anyway, like I said, really solid episode, and like you said, Mike's explanation did not put Saul at ease. Hence why in Breaking Bad he's still nervous about Lalo.

I have to say, he made a good case for Kim going instead of him.
