Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2. Incredible games but long as hell. Hard to recommend for that reason alone.

How much does grind (versus story and "legit" content) contribute to the length?

My Steamdeck arrives tomorrow! For the first time ever, I’ll be playing a PC game this weekend. I’m not sure which one yet, but I’ll be playing a PC game. Any PC-only recommendations?

I bought the Ukraine Humble Bundle and Ukraine Itch Bundle. I’ve got plenty ready to rock!

I played for about 2 hours today and got the hang of it! Still only up to the 4th level.

The Show 22 on Switch (free trial)

A surprisingly competent port. The frame rate is terrible, but it is fully featured.

They released a David Ortiz program today where you can play through big moments of his career. I should've known it was going to be in there, but I got emotional playing the 500th home run moment--my wife and I watched this game in the delivery room just hours before my daughter was born.

I just beat Detroit: Become Human. I was impressed with the Kara story line. A very good loving relationship between her and Alice. Probably not as good as the Joel and Ellie relationship in tLoU, but it’s definitely up there.

There's a shitload of optional stuff, but even if you stick to the main quest it's going to take a while. It's also quite poorly optimized so it can feel like a loading screen sim at times.
