Yes, if not they will slightly melt. This apartment is always hot, even without any oven on in the warmer six months of the year. Besides, it keeps them nice and crunchy, melt in the mouth style. Can keep them out a bit after the fridge, if they need that.

Frequently none, but if I'm doing good I'll have almonds and cheese around. Maybe hummus and pita chips too.
