It could vary depending on various factors (do they work out, have regular sex, poor people shower more than rich people, environmental factors, advice on skin etc). But in general statistics and if it once in a blue moon comes up at lunch as a small talk talking point, every day is probably the most normal answer.

In my apartment building, water is free, so cost doesn’t come into it.
