I can't walk outside because it's 1000000000 degrees and my foot hurts.

burt's right, it's hot out there guys.
now, if you could guarantee me i'd bump into a lady walking around with a jar of peanut butter, i'd be more likely to venture out there.

3.53 miles. Not enough to ease melancholy, I’ve learned.

I've been so lazy. I haven't gone on consecutive outdoor walks in several months. I know I need to. I'm just unmotivated.
Ugh.

Re: the walking thread
I live in Westchester (duh since 95% of the shows I post about attending are at one particularly wonderful venue in Port Chester), commute to Downtown Brooklyn every weekday. While I still regularly utilize Peloton for bike/exercise/tracking running, I also walk most days from Manhattan to Brooklyn, either by taking the subway to Canal Street and walking over the Manhattan Bridge or taking the subway one stop further and walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s between 1.75 and 2 miles from subway to office door. I throw that on top of whatever exercise and sometimes walk at lunch when the weather is nice. Walking is where I get a lot of the listening done when I post about those band journeys. A great escape.
