Song of the Moment: Infallible
Keep on locking your doors
Keep on building your floors
Keep on just as before
Pay disasters no mind
Didn't get you this time
No prints left at the crime
Our ship's come in
And it's sinking
Of everything that's possible
In the hearts and minds of men
Somehow it is the biggest things
That keep on slipping
Right through our hands
By thinking we're infallible
We are tempting fate instead
Time we best begin
Here at the ending
Wanna third second chance
Put your faith in big hands
Pay no more than a glance
All good things come to an end
This could be as good as it gets
How's the view from the fence?
You think we been here before
You are mistaken
Of everything that's possible
In the hearts and minds of men
When progress could be plausible
In reverse we curse ourselves
By thinking we're infallible
We are tempting fate instead
Time we best begin
Here at the ending
Of everything that's possible
In the hearts and mind sof mend
Somehow it is the biggest things
That keep on slipping
Right through our hands
By thinking we're infallible
We are tempting fate instead
Time we best begin
Here at the ending
Keep on locking your doors

Infallible
Interesting sound. the clip, however, reminds me of background music used for sports video games. I also thought of a TV car commercial. hoping it turns out good...

Cool story bro.

Re: Infallible
Infallible. Love the music. Turns a bit more generic at the chorus but still very interesting. Nice vocal melodies. I feel they could have gone a bit weirder and heavier at times. Overall I like this quite a bit, a lot more than most of the leaked 6 tracks.

Re: Infallible
I'm going to end up liking this, once I get over the fact they turned a heavy rock song into a groovy pop tune. It's dark but in a slightly tongue-in-cheek way.

Re: Infallible
This one is playing now for me...kinda weird. Not sure I like the vocal delivery, but the music is interesting. Not sure what to compare it to, maybe Force Of Nature? But it's very different. Verdict is out on this one so far. I have a feeling I may like it more with repeated listens though. FON was the exact opposite.

That's up to your own preferences, I guess. It's got that same plastic protection and calculated control that really makes it feel like emotionless dentist music to me, but I guess it's another "good at what it does" track.

It's a good song that could have been a great song, IMO.
Still enjoyed it though.

Yeah, from the Stone clip, I was hoping for greatness, instead my initial impression leaves me underwhelmed.theplatypus wrote:Big letdown.
