Song of the Moment: Yellow Moon

This may be a grower and is again not like any other PJ song. If pushed I'd say it's near Parting Ways meets Sirens. Nice Mike solo. Nothing jumps out though. Rather a reclusive vocal. Maybe a bit of a Riot Act vibe in there.

Edit: and Low Light with the dropped beat.

Meh. Although, as with some of the other tunes, it's seems nicely layered, so after repeated listens I may like this one more.

Ehh. It's okay. They borrowed a few tricks from "Lowlight" in the arrangement.

Still wish those solos were less....those. They could have accented the idiosyncratic qualities of the track, and instead they try to give it the "midtempo rock song" treatment.

Otherwise a standout.

I like the solo, I think, but I agree they could have gone for something a bit less traditional there.

I'm surprised that initial section doesn't get shit for mimicking Lowlight the way Supersonic mimicked Mankind.

This is probably the best song on this album, though.

no one cares if it is good. Supersonic/Mankind is just weak imitating weak.
