argo is not wrong here. i was trying to think of a movie that left an impression on me at a young age and i came up empty.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

man, im not sure....but i would say Masters Of The Universe fuck it up badly for me...i was a huuuuge He Man fan and was stocked to see the movie, i only saw this little trailer before...went completely in the dark...I arrived a little late i think and BOOM He Man fucking lost?? I watched more movies when Netflix mailed you DVDs.
They had almost everything somewhat mainstream , you didn’t have to go around looking for what was on what service. I set aside a time to watch instead of always having it there and “I will watch later” sets in.
I’ve seen a few movies on HBO but my movie watching is way down.

It's objectively not her accent. It's not usually a problem and I don't care about accents, but in this case Monroe's voice kinda stands out as part of her persona, so it feels off to me.

I think that's actually the point of the movie, judging by the trailer. The woman herself is playing the Marilyn Monroe character, and nobody actually saw who she really was behind the curtain.
